Your New Debit Card Is Coming This Fall...

We’re excited to announce changes to your Debit Card! In September, you will receive a new Debit Mastercard in the mail. This new card will replace your current card.

Features & Benefits :

  • New! Tap and Go with Contactless Payments: Enjoy the safety and security of contacless payments.

  • Activating Your New Card: You may begin using your new card as soon as you activate it. To activate, call (855)-726-4885 and choose a new PIN. Your current card will be deactivated on November 3, 2025.

  • Expand Your Mobile Wallet: For added convenience when making purchases, you can add your new Debit Card to your mobile wallet with ApplePay, SamsungPay, or GooglePay.

  • New and Enhanced Fraud Alerts: You are guarded by industry leading technology, tools and expertise to monitor and protect your new card 24/7. The new fraud alert system that will use Text, Call or Email notifications to help mitigate fraud. Please call Inspire Federal Credit Union to update your contact information.

IMPORTANT:  If you have recently changed your address or phone number, please contact Inspire FCU and update your information so your new card will be delivered on time. Your new card will have a new 16-digit card number. If you have recurring payments tied to your existing debit card to pay for services, such as Internet services, insurance, gym membership, etc. be sure to contact those vendors and provide your new card information so that your service is not interrupted.

1. Will my new debit card have a new 16-digit number?

Yes, due to changes in Mastercard requirements, Inspire FCU will be issuing new debit cards with new 16-digit card numbers.

2. Will I need to update my card number for recurring payments?

Yes, if you have recurring payments tied to your existing debit card to pay for services, such as Internet services, subscriptions, insurance, gym memberships, etc, you will need to contact those vendors and provide your new card information so that your service is not interrupted.

3. When will my new card arrive?

Cards will begin arriving the week of September 22nd, 2025.

4. When can I start using my new card?

You may begin using your new card as soon as you receive and activate it. You can activate your card and choose a new PIN by calling (855) 726-4885.

5. When will my existing card stop working?

Your current card will remain active until November 3rd, 2025. On November 3rd, all current cards will be closed and no longer available for use.

6. What is the activation phone number?

Members can call the IVR at 855-726-4885 to activate their cards and select a new PIN. You will be asked to enter information for authentication and security.

7. Will my new card have tap and go functionality?

Yes, the new Inspire FCU debit cards will have contactless functionality allowing you to simply Tap and Go at any POS where contactless payments are accepted.

8. Will I be able to use my new card in my mobile wallet?

Yes, you will be able to add your new card to you ApplePay, Samsung Pay, or GooglePay Wallet.

9. Will I still receive fraud alerts for my debit card?

Yes, your card will be guarded by industry leading technology, tools, and expertise to monitor and protect your new card 24/7. The new fraud alert system will use Text, Call and Email notifications to help mitigate fraud.

10. Is there a new after-hours phone number for lost and stolen debit cards?

Yes, members should call the Credit Union to report lost and stolen debit cards during regular business hours. After hours, please call TransFund at 888-263-3370.
