Inspire FCU Recognized as Local Work Force Investment Champion

Bucks County, PA (November 2018)Inspire Federal Credit Union received recognition as a Champion of Commerce on Thursday, November 29th at the Pen Ryn Estate in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The event, hosted by the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce, recognizes organizations in the community that make a difference where we work, live and learn.

Inspire FCU was the honoree of the Work Force Investment Champion, one of eight categories recognized during the evening event. Each award recipient is nominated by local businesses and chamber members. PA CareerLink Bucks County nominated Inspire FCU for their ongoing commitment to hire local professionals. The Work Force Investment award is presented to a business or group that invests in the local workforce, including but not limited to, education and training.

Jim Merrill, Inspire’s President/CEO, received the award on behalf of the Credit Union. Speaking to a group of 125 business professionals in Bucks County, Merrill stated that “Inspire is dedicated to good corporate citizenship, and being a supporter of growth in our community. Our work with PA CareerLink Bucks County has allowed us to add qualified and hardworking individuals to our team.”

Inspire has three locations in Bucks County and has experienced significant growth in the last few years. According to Merrill, the credit union plans to add more employees and invest more in their workforce as the organization continues to grow.
