2018 Teacher Spotlight: Jennifer DiGiuseppe

Inspire Federal Credit Union is proud to introduce you to another Bucks County “Teacher of The Year” finalist, Jennifer DiGiuseppe.

Jennifer is currently teaching kindergarten at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School in the Bristol Borough School District. This 15-year teaching veteran has spent her last 14 years at Synder-Girotti where she helped construct the Snyder-Girotti playground!

Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Kutztown University in 2003. She received her Master of Education degree from Gratz College in 2007.

In her spare time, Jennifer is an active supporter of her local Bristol community! Jennifer is a supporter of the AOC (Advisory and Oversight Council) which supports the children in the Bristol Borough community. She is also involved in Raising The Bar Organization which helps support local Bristol Borough businesses. She has spent 20 years volunteering at the annual St. Ann’s Carnival in Bristol Borough. For over 15 years prior to the closing of St. Ann’s Parish, she and her family fed over 200 people for Thanksgiving dinner each year in the church’s basement.

When we asked Jennifer what her favorite thing about teaching is her answer came naturally. She said, “Teaching kindergarten is setting the foundation for a child's future success both educationally and in life. It is rewarding to have a child come into your classroom at the young age of 5 years old and to leave 10 months later being able to read and write! It never gets old and every day is truly an adventure!”

Congratulations to Jennifer and all 10 of the 2018 Teacher of the Year finalists.

Over the coming weeks, we will be spotlighting each of our ten finalists for Teacher of the Year on our blog and on our Facebook page.
