Jim Merrill - President/CEO
Jim Merrill joined Inspire FCU as President/CEO in 2014. Jim is responsible for the overall strategic direction and leadership of the organization. Jim is a recognized leader in the credit union space and a financial services industry veteran with almost 32 years of experience in the credit union system. Jim earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from York College of Pennsylvania. Jim resides in Middletown Township, Bucks County and volunteers his time on multiple non-profit boards and committees, including serving as President of the Middletown Community Foundation, a charitable organization providing support to the residents of Middletown Township, Bucks County.
Tim Aitken- Executive Vice President/CFO
Tim Aitken joined Inspire FCU in 2014 as Vice President of Finance. He was promoted to Executive Vice President/CFO and currently oversees the Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, and Risk Management departments for Inspire FCU. Tim has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Tim earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from William Paterson University and he is a CPA in New Jersey. Tim enjoys coordinating fundraising activities for his son's soccer team in his spare time such as The Gavi Fund and Soccer Without Borders.
Denise Hackendahl - Vice President, Employee Experience & Development
Denise joined Inspire FCU in 2017. Her primary responsibilities include Human Resources, internal company culture, employee engagement and oversight of the Member Experience Center. Prior to joining Inspire FCU, Denise served as a Human Resources Consultant to the Credit Union for the previous five years. Denise resides in Bucks County and has an MBA from Temple University's Fox School of Business.
Brian Phillips - Vice President, Operations
Brian is responsible for and oversees Inspire FCU’s Marketing and Community Engagement department, Retail Branch Network, and supports Business Services initiatives. Brian's experience in the financial services industry has primarily focused in business development and marketing roles. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Brian lives in Bucks County and is active in the business community serving on multiple committees and volunteers his time on a local community board.
Lauren Singleton – Vice President, Deposit & Digital Services
Lauren is responsible for services provided to Inpire's membership, including elctronic services, debit cards and payments, the IRA program and is an integral member of the Credit Union’s Risk Management team. Lauren’s experience in the banking industry spans across various departments, including Member Services, Compliance, and Operations. Lauren resides just outside of Bucks County and has a Bachelor’s Degree from Cairn University.
Lou Hyjurick – Assistant Vice President, IT & Facilities
Lou is responsible for all Information Technology , as well as Facilities management for all Inspire FCU locations. Prior to joining full time, Lou was an IT Consultant to the Credit Union for 10 years. Lou resides in Bucks County and has over 30 years experience in Information Technology.
Veronica Ellis – Assistsnt Vice President, Indirect & Consumer Lending
Veronica oversees the loan department and works closely with auto dealerships in Bucks County managing the indirect lending partnerships. Prior to joining Inspire, Veronica served as a loan officer for six years, has over 25 years of experience in financial services and is a certified credit counselor. Veronica resides in Burlington County, NJ
