We’re Hiring: AVP of Business Lending

 What You’ll Do
Lead & Grow Business Lending
Drive new business development by originating working capital lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, business vehicle financing, and business deposit accounts, ensuring alignment with the Credit Union’s financial goals.
Build & Strengthen Relationships
Develop and manage a high-value portfolio of business members. You’ll nurture both new and existing relationships, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring long-term profitability.
Expand Our Community Presence

Drive Strategic Sales Activity

 Essential Duties
- Lead business development efforts to acquire new business members for lending and deposit services.

- Represent Inspire FCU at business, networking, and community events.

Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related area preferred.

Inspire Federal Credit Union, a progressive, fast-growing credit union, is seeking a full-time Business Relationship Manager. At Inspire, our relationship-based approach to banking is our best differentiator and competitive advantage. The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for cultivating leads that specifically develop new business opportunities for the credit union. This position is accountable for acquiring new profitable member relationships (business and consumer), resulting in core deposit growth and quality lending opportunities. Additionally, this position will be accountable to support the growth of the Credit Union’s CUSO business entities. In alignment with the Credit Union’s strategic goals, this position will formulate plans and produce results consistent with management expectations. The candidate will attend and participate various events in the community, to network with local businesses and create favorable brand awareness of the credit union.
Responsibilities:
- Build, develop and maintain successful member relationships including interaction with businesses at all levels to ensure the credit union’s presence and recognition within the community in which it operates.
- Work independently to develop and solicit new business from present and prospective members to increase revenue base and overall profitability.
- Serve as the primary sales contact for new and existing business banking relationships and maintain open and ongoing communication to improve wallet share.
- Partner and collaborate with all business lines within the Credit Union to assist with local business development efforts as well as gain their support to assist with business development activities.
- Contribute to the profitability and growth of the Credit Union by building, developing, and managing new and existing business member relationships.
- Analyzes potential members’ banking needs, earnings, and financial conditions to recommend appropriate banking solutions.
- Showcase the newest promotions and marketing initiatives that the Credit Union offers.
- Develop and maintain a network of referral sources to generate leads for additional business banking relationship opportunities.
- Onboard new banking relationships to maximize member usage of all products and services available – including digital banking services.
- Participate in a variety of marketing initiatives to support the Credit Unions strategic initiative goals.
- Research and develop new sales leads for the purpose of member acquisition for business accounts, commercial and lending referrals, and deposit account (Business & Consumer) referrals.
- Maintain membership and actively participate in industry and trade organizations.
- Participate in community and business functions/groups to enhance the overall image of the Credit union and to promote the credit union while driving new member and business leads into the credit union.
- Prepare a wide variety of reports and management information on activities and ensure that management is adequately informed of all member development activities and objectives.
- Adheres to proper regulatory compliance practices inherent in this position’s responsibilities by following departmental policies and procedures, completing compliance training as assigned and questioning any areas of uncertainty regarding proper regulatory processes.
In addition to growing business deposits, this position is responsible for generating additional lines of business including lending relationships and commercial insurance products through relationship building techniques. This position will cross-sell other appropriate Inspire FCU products and services.

Job Description
Inspire Federal Credit Union, a $300+ million credit union serving Bucks and Philadelphia Counties with 15,000 members, is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our growing team as a Payment & Retail Operations Specialist.
The Payment & Retail Operations Specialist works closely with Card Services, ACH, Accounting, Compliance, Branch Operations, IT, and other internal partners to support daily operations, mitigate risk, and deliver a positive member and employee experience. This role requires strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties
- Serve as a primary operational support contact for Branches, Business Development, and internal teams; monitor and manage the Retail Operations shared email inbox.
- Process retail and deposit operations transactions, including certificate renewals and closures, Courtesy Pay and NSF letters, IRA transactions, and decedent account processing in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Provide operational support for online and mobile banking services, including enrollment assistance, troubleshooting, limit adjustments, and digital access issues.
- Review and approve branch, mobile, merchant, ATM, and returned deposits; monitor digital exceptions and assist with system testing during software updates and releases.
- Support onboarding and ongoing servicing of Business Online Banking members, ensuring accurate documentation, permissions, and entitlements.
- Review online and Quick App account applications for fraud indicators; conduct outbound verification calls, open accounts, complete funding steps, and ensure compliance with CIP, OFAC, and internal procedures.
- Escalate suspicious or high-risk activity to the Manager, Payments & Deposit Operations.
- Process ACH/EFT exception files, returns, and Notifications of Change (NOCs); review PPDs and Deluxe check alerts.
- Process share draft transactions, return files, and related accounting tasks; initiate and process domestic wire transfers in accordance with approval workflows.
- Perform daily debit card operational tasks including card ordering, reissues, transaction limit maintenance, fraud queue monitoring, and dispute support, including Reg E documentation and provisional credit recommendations.
- Monitor fraud and risk management queues, identify unusual trends, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Collaborate with Card Services, ACH Services, Accounting, Compliance, Branch Operations, and IT to resolve escalated issues and support operational excellence.
- Assist with procedure development, workflow documentation, training materials, system testing, vendor transitions, and special projects.
- Provide branch coverage and additional departmental support as needed.

- Serve as a primary operational support contact for Branches, DXC, Business Development, and internal teams; monitor and manage the Retail Operations shared email inbox.
- Process retail and deposit operations transactions including certificate renewals and closures, Courtesy Pay and NSF letters, IRA transactions, and decedent account processing in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Provide operational support for online and mobile banking services, including enrollment assistance, troubleshooting, limit adjustments, and digital access issues.
- Support and monitor digital banking tools such as bill pay, mobile deposit, eStatements, Payrailz, card controls, and A2A/P2P transactions.
- Review and approve branch, mobile, merchant, ATM, and returned deposits; assist with digital exception monitoring and system testing during software updates and releases.
- Perform daily debit card operational tasks including card ordering, reissues, transaction limit maintenance, fraud queue monitoring, and debit card maintenance.
- Complete debit card dispute and fraud processing, Reg E documentation, and preparation of provisional credit recommendations.
- Monitor Debit Protect Fraud Program queues, identify unusual or suspicious activity, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Assist with OATM exceptions, card-related reconciliations, and representment tasks.
- Process ACH/EFT exception files, returns, and Notifications of Change (NOCs); review and process PPDs and Deluxe check alerts.
