Opening Position(s):
We are seeking a service-oriented HR Manager (Exempt) to support day-to-day human resources operations and help deliver a strong employee experience. Reporting to the SVP/COO, this role partners with leaders and employees across the organization to coordinate recruiting and onboarding, administer core HR programs, support employee relations and performance management processes, maintain HRIS and records, and help ensure HR practices remain compliant and consistent.
 What You’ll Do
- Partner with leaders on hiring needs and coordinate recruitment efforts from job posting through offer.
- Lead onboarding and new employee orientation to create a seamless, welcoming new hire experience.
- Support employee relations by providing guidance, documenting concerns, and assisting with resolutions.
- Administer benefits and leave programs, ensuring smooth and compliant employee experience.
- Coordinate performance management cycles with tools and insights that support the process.
- Maintain HR systems and records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Track and analyze HR metrics (turnover, hiring, training) to support data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
- Manage third-party relationships and vendors to ensure operational effectiveness.

What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2-3 Â years of HR experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or equivalent experience); Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred or willing to obtain.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

GENERAL SUMMARYÂ
Member Relationship Specialist (MRS) will serve as the relationship builder and liaison between Inspire Federal Credit Union and members. MRS is responsible for professionally receiving and processing a variety of applications. This representative will perform maintenance and clerical duties related to new and existing accounts, including savings, checking and loans. The Member Relationship Specialist will take a consultative sales approach with members to identify needs and suggest credit union products and services that will benefit the member’s financial needs. Â
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSÂ
- Represent the Credit Union to members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service, while building a trusting relationship with each member during every interaction. Â
- Open new accounts including share, checking, share certificate, club as well as servicing new accounts. Â
- Promote Credit Union products and services.Â
- Become familiar with Credit Union products and services to properly educate members and answer questions members have, research, and resolve member inquiries, and assist members with account balancing. Â
- Assist members with loan applications by gathering what may be needed to complete loan application.Â
- Gather background information such as credit report, verification of employment, and recent pay stubs.Â
- Meet with approved member(s) to acquire any needed information and/or signature(s) on loan document  tation. Check for accuracy on SmartCore system and on loan documentation. Â
- Actively follow up with members via e-mail and/or telephone to ensure their needs have been satisfied.Â
- Greet members upon entering the Credit Union and assist them in a timely and effective manner.Â
- Onboard new member via e-mail and through follow-up phone calls to ensure their expectations are and will be met.Â
- Performs routine member transactions.Â
- Complete miscellaneous projects as required by management.Â
- Cross-sell credit insurance on loans, while also assisting with loan payoff requests and account verification requests.  Â

QUALIFICATIONSÂ

- Professional, well-developed communication skills necessary for servicing Credit Union members and projecting a positive image as a representative for Credit UnionÂ
- Working requires knowledge of all Credit Union products and services. These characteristics are normally acquired through completion of high school education plus at least one year of experience in financial services institution. Â
- Intermediate mathematical skill required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.). Â
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism.Â
- Employee bondability is required. Â
- Ability to travel reliably to all Inspire branches, company-wide training events, and community events. Â

This position operates in a professional office environment within a credit union branch. The Member Relationship Specialist frequently interacts with members in person, requiring extended periods of standing at a teller station or service desk, often for multiple hours at a time. The role may also involve occasional walking, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), and repetitive motions such as typing or using office equipment.
