GENERAL SUMMARY
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring the delivery of exceptional member service, managing branch staff, and achieving financial and operational goals. This role is crucial in fostering a positive and productive environment, enhancing member experiences, and driving growth within the branch’s market area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the branch, ensuring it operates smoothly and aligns with organizational goals.
- Support the Lead MRS in ensuring the efficient management of branch operations, including member service, compliance, and risk management.
- Oversee the implementation of branch initiatives and support the Lead MRS in achieving operational goal.
- Ensure that exceptional member service is delivered at all times, addressing and resolving issues as needed.
- Actively engage with members to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Promote the credit union’s products and services to enhance the member’s experience and meet sales goals.
- Lead efforts to meet and exceed branch sales targets, including loan and deposit growth, cross-selling, and service initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients and community partners to increase market share.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance branch visibility and support community involvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring that branch staff is well-trained and motivated to meet goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and create professional development plans for team members.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
- Analyze branch performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports to track progress against targets.
- Ensure the branch operates in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Manage risks related to fraud prevention, security, and data protection.
- Conduct regular audits of branch operations to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Actively represents Inspire FCU at community events and serves as a visible ambassador of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in branch management, retail banking, or financial services.
- Strong experience in sales and business development.
- Proven track record of managing and developing teams.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data.
- Proficient in branch operations, including cash handling, loans, and customer service.
- Customer-focused with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to travel reliably to all Inspire branches, company-wide training events, and community events.

This position is primarily based in a professional office setting and requires frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, printers, and related technology tools. The role involves extended periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and occasional standing or walking to attend meetings or collaborate with other departments. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, demonstrate manual dexterity and communicate verbally. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Frequent travel to branch locations, training events, and vendor meetings may be required. The role may also require flexibility to work outside of standard business hours during system upgrades, vendor transitions, company trainings or events or to resolve critical service issues.

GENERAL SUMMARYÂ
Member Relationship Specialist (MRS) will serve as the relationship builder and liaison between Inspire Federal Credit Union and members. MRS is responsible for professionally receiving and processing a variety of applications. This representative will perform maintenance and clerical duties related to new and existing accounts, including savings, checking and loans. The Member Relationship Specialist will take a consultative sales approach with members to identify needs and suggest credit union products and services that will benefit the member’s financial needs. Â
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSÂ
- Represent the Credit Union to members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service, while building a trusting relationship with each member during every interaction. Â
- Open new accounts including share, checking, share certificate, club as well as servicing new accounts. Â
- Promote Credit Union products and services.Â
- Become familiar with Credit Union products and services to properly educate members and answer questions members have, research, and resolve member inquiries, and assist members with account balancing. Â
- Assist members with loan applications by gathering what may be needed to complete loan application.Â
- Gather background information such as credit report, verification of employment, and recent pay stubs.Â
- Meet with approved member(s) to acquire any needed information and/or signature(s) on loan document  tation. Check for accuracy on SmartCore system and on loan documentation. Â
- Actively follow up with members via e-mail and/or telephone to ensure their needs have been satisfied.Â
- Greet members upon entering the Credit Union and assist them in a timely and effective manner.Â
- Onboard new member via e-mail and through follow-up phone calls to ensure their expectations are and will be met.Â
- Performs routine member transactions.Â
- Complete miscellaneous projects as required by management.Â
- Cross-sell credit insurance on loans, while also assisting with loan payoff requests and account verification requests.  Â

QUALIFICATIONSÂ

- Professional, well-developed communication skills necessary for servicing Credit Union members and projecting a positive image as a representative for Credit UnionÂ
- Working requires knowledge of all Credit Union products and services. These characteristics are normally acquired through completion of high school education plus at least one year of experience in financial services institution. Â
- Intermediate mathematical skill required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.). Â
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism.Â
- Employee bondability is required. Â
- Ability to travel reliably to all Inspire branches, company-wide training events, and community events. Â
